Trout Hotel

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, nonetheless everything was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed being here.

The hotel was in the central setting close to busting its banks. And there was Fiza Spice with short-orders minutes from the venue, super convenient. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and an iron/ironing board, a work desk and TV in the classic queen room.

Everything was simply excellent. Had an excellent stay in a beautiful area, really enjoyed staff and cleanliness. The rooms were immaculate with view.

The venue is cosy and faultless, its location is perfect, really close to the centre of town, Cockermouth, the river.

It was clean, and I loved great staff and location.

This hotel was delightful, I enjoyed its very good staff and food. Had excellent dishes in an excellent restaurant. It was such great stay, I didn't want to leave and would love to stay here again👍

We loved almost every detail: stunning location, brilliant staff. Hotel was neat. Had nice hot English breakfast with pastries and smoked haddock, as example. We spent fairly nice time and did not want to leave.

And it also had awesome view.

I had a fine experience here, everything was very clean, the location was fab really close to restaurant. The rooms with shower, kettle plus a really comfy bed.

The best thing is location - adjacent to all pubs, restaurants, the river, the lakes. The excellent service combined with the excellent food. Moreover, it has free wi-fi, really handy.

Too small bathroom, very hot room.

We had a just perfect stay here, everything was perfect. Luxurious rooms with comfortable design. Spotless place and exceptional service.

Good value, a spectacular location. Huge, respectable and tidy hotel. Fresh fruit, meats, fresh bread, cheese and pastries for breakfast were gorgeous. Bed was spacious, room was luxurious & functional.

Wi-Fi was very poor.

Hot breakfast, clean place, astonishing views. There is an exceptional lounge restaurant. Thanks to UNBEATABLE location it took us 10 minutes to get to the bus stop.

The stay was fab. I enjoyed the riverside location, simply stunning view, well-planned rooms. The bed was lovely and it was great having climate control, trouser press and big windows. The terrace bar was busy and the drinks were tasty.

Recommend while travelling to Cockermouth. We enjoyed staff and facilities, the venue organised everything for us. River view was worthy. The accommodation had a very central location.

This hotel is equal to 4 stars. We enjoyed to be at Trout and its views and drinks. The bar was perfect for breakfast.

Lovely beds and polite staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel for every one coming to Cockermouth. The area contains some restaurants like the terrace bistro within 5 minutes' walk...

Nothing, no complaints at all.

Derwent Restaurant, where you can eat, is an easy walk to the hotel. Superb location and appropriate prices.
